Originally named Chipley in 1882; Pine Mountain has emerged from a farming community into a lively town with some of the friendliest people in the South.

Downtown is known for its quaint locally-owned shops and boutiques offering a variety of goods. Pine Mountain also has an interesting collection of local artists and craftsmen who found Pine Mountain an ideal place to call home.  Or perhaps you might want to take one of the many classes & workshops offered at the Art Works Gallery and explore your own creativity. 

Choices abound when its time to grab a bite to eat. Stop in one of the cafes for a sandwich, taste the local barbecue or for a finer dining experience, Pine Mountain offers a broad selection of restaurants.  No meal would be complete without stopping at Sages for some good old fashioned hand-dipped ice cream or a treat from the on site bakery.
